Living on the South River, a tidal tributary of the Chesapeake Bay, I enjoy exploring its rivers, creeks and coves, capturing its bountiful waters, wildlife, working harbors, and the watermen harvesting oysters, crabs, and other catches. I enjoy photographing nature as it presents itself to me, whether a stunning butterfly sipping nectar, a bee pollinating a flower, or a doe taking a drink at the water's edge.

I am drawn to workboats and timeless sailboats gliding across its waters. My photographic journey also reaches distant shores and the people who call them home.
